The Abolition of the Fashion Season

In 2015, two Swedish entrepreneurs posed an unsettling question to the menswear industry: Why do clothing brands invent arbitrary Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections, manufacture massive surplus inventory, and then incinerate or discount the remnants?

ASKET was founded on a singular premise: build a permanent collection of indispensable menswear archetypes. No discounts, no Black Friday frenzies, and no seasonal obsolescence. If a white Oxford shirt is perfected today, it will be sold in the same form five years from now.

"Fast fashion told the world that clothes are disposable entertainment. We believe clothes should be permanent tools for living."
— August Bard-Bringéus, Co-founder of ASKET

The 100% Traceability Receipt

ASKET operates what is arguably the fashion industry's most stringent supply-chain ledger. When you inspect an ASKET garment, you receive an itemized receipt revealing:

  • Raw Cotton Farm: Exact farm origin in Egypt or USA with water consumption indices.
  • Spinning & Weaving Mills: Detailed information on yarn spinning in Italy or Portugal.
  • Cut & Sew Atelier: Full address and wage audit metrics of the assembly workshop.
  • Cost Breakdown: Exact cost of fabric, buttons, labor, shipping, and brand margin.

The 15-Size Matrix Innovation

To solve the common fit compromises of ready-to-wear sizing (S, M, L, XL), ASKET introduced dual-axis sizing. Every shirt and knit is offered in Short, Regular, and Long variations across standard chest sizes, allowing men of diverse builds to attain tailor-like drape straight off the rack.
